  • 450 g (1 lb) shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 450 g (1 lb) smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 small cabbage, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ tsp thyme (optional but ๐Ÿ”ฅ)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon ๐Ÿ‹

  • Cooked rice or cornbread

1️⃣ Brown the Sausage (Flavor Base ๐Ÿ”ฅ)

  • Heat oil + butter in a large skillet
  • Add sausage and cook until deep golden & slightly crispy
  • Remove and set aside
