Cajun Snow Crab & Shrimp Butter Pan (Loaded Seafood Boil Style)
📝 Ingredients
- 2 snow crab clusters 🦀
- 500 g (1 lb) large shrimp (shell-on for flavor) 🍤
- 4–5 baby potatoes (halved) 🥔
- 2 corn on the cob (cut into chunks) 🌽
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional 🔥)
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional but 🔥🔥)
- ½ lemon (juice) 🍋
- 1 tbsp parsley (for garnish)
- Salt to taste
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Boil the Base
- In a pot, boil potatoes for 10–12 minutes
- Add corn → cook another 5 minutes
- Drain and set aside
2️⃣ Cook the Crab
- Add crab clusters to boiling water
- Cook 5–6 minutes (until heated through)
- Remove and set aside
3️⃣ Build the Cajun Butter 🔥
- In a large pan → melt butter + olive oil
- Add garlic → cook 30–40 sec
- Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, black pepper, chili flakes, Old Bay
- Stir → let flavors bloom
4️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
- Add shrimp → cook 2–3 min per side
- Don’t overcook ❌ (they should be juicy)
5️⃣ Bring Everything Together
- Add potatoes + corn + crab into the pan
- Toss everything in the sauce
👉 Let it simmer 2–3 minutes so everything absorbs flavor
6️⃣ Final Touch ✨
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice
- Sprinkle parsley
- Optional: drizzle extra melted butter on top
