Southern Ranchhouse Steak & Shrimp Alfredo Skillet
Ingredients
For the pasta

300 g penne pasta

2 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp oil
-
250 g beef steak, cut into strips

250 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
Seasoning
-
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
-
1/2 tsp paprika
-
1/2 tsp black pepper
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder
-
Salt to taste
For the Alfredo sauce
-
2 tbsp butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup milk
-
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
Pinch black pepper
-
Pinch parsley
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the pasta
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne until al dente.
Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the steak
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak strips and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the shrimp
In the same skillet melt 1 tbsp butter.
Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden.
Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ Cook the mushrooms
Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until browned and tender.
5️⃣ Make the Alfredo sauce
In the same pan melt butter and add minced garlic.
Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
6️⃣ Add cream
Pour in heavy cream and milk.
Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thick.
7️⃣ Add cheese
Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
8️⃣ Combine pasta
Add cooked penne to the sauce and toss until fully coated.
9️⃣ Add steak and shrimp
Return steak and shrimp to the skillet and gently mix or place on top.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
🔥 Pro Tip:
Add extra Cajun seasoning + Parmesan on top for a stronger restaurant-style flavor.
