Homemade Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti noodles

  • Large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Paprika

  • Dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.

  4. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

  5. In the same pan, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.

  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and thick.

  7. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper.

  8. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until well coated with the creamy sauce.

  9. Return the shrimp to the pan and gently mix everything together.

  10. Sprinkle with paprika and dried parsley before serving.

Tip: For extra flavor, add a little garlic powder or a pinch of Cajun seasoning to the shrimp.
