Glazed Salmon with Shrimp Fried Rice

 📝 Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets

  • Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • Cooked long-grain rice (preferably day-old)

  • Soy sauce

  • Honey or brown sugar

  • Garlic, minced

  • Onion, diced

  • Mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, green beans)

  • Smoked paprika

  • Chili flakes

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

  • Butter or cooking oil

  • Optional: sausage pieces


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Season salmon with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and chili flakes.

2️⃣ Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat and sear salmon until deeply browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ In the same pan sauté garlic, onion, and sausage (if using).

4️⃣ Add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove and set aside.

5️⃣ Add vegetables and rice, breaking up the rice as it cooks.

6️⃣ Stir in soy sauce and honey (or brown sugar) and cook until rice is hot and slightly caramelized.

7️⃣ Return shrimp to the rice and mix well.

8️⃣ Serve rice topped with salmon and drizzle the glaze over the fish.
