Crispy Cajun Shrimp & Loaded Fries

๐น Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined, tails on)
- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal (for extra crunch ๐ฅ)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Oil for frying
๐น Fries:
- 4 cups fries (crinkle cut preferred ๐ฅ)
- Salt + paprika
- Optional: garlic powder
๐น Cajun Seasoning Mix (for finishing):
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- Pinch of chili flakes

- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1️⃣ Marinate Shrimp (flavor base):

Soak shrimp in buttermilk for 15–30 minutes

- Mix flour + cornmeal + all spices
- Remove shrimp from buttermilk → coat well

- Heat oil to 175–180°C (350°F)
- Fry shrimp 2–3 minutes only until golden
- Remove & drain
4️⃣ Fries (Extra Crunch):
- Fry or bake fries until golden
- For BEST result → fry twice (crispy outside, soft inside)
