Creamy Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti
Ingredients

300 g spaghetti

400 g raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp butter or cooking oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 small onion, finely chopped (optional)

1 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 tsp paprika
-
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

1/2 tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

1 tsp dried Italian seasoning or mixed herbs

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Cook the pasta
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and set aside. -
Cook the shrimp
Heat butter or oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add shrimp, season with salt and paprika, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.
Remove shrimp and set aside. -
Make the sauce
In the same pan, add garlic and onion.
Sauté until fragrant and slightly soft. -
Add the cream
Pour in the heavy cream.
Add black pepper, chili flakes, and Italian seasoning.
Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. -
Combine the pasta
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss until fully coated. -
Return the shrimp
Add shrimp back into the pan and cook for 1–2 minutes so everything heats through. -
Finish and serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Tip 🔥
Add Parmesan cheese and a squeeze of lemon juice at the end for even more flavor.
