Southern Soul Black Pepper Shrimp Skillet

Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (or more to taste)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
2 green onions, chopped
Salt to taste

Instructions:

Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp, season with salt, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add bell peppers and cook until slightly tender but still crisp.
Stir in black pepper, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, soy sauce, honey, and lemon juice.
Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Cook for another 1–2 minutes until everything is glossy and well combined.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
