  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: pinch chili flakes
  • Fresh parsley

👉 Optional upgrade 🔥

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (adds depth)
  • Splash of lemon juice (balance)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Perfect Steak Sear (Key 🔥)

  • Pat steak dry (very important)
  • Heat oil in pan until VERY hot
  • Season steak (salt + pepper + paprika)
  • Sear quickly until browned with crust
  • Remove immediately (don’t overcook ❌)

2️⃣ Cook Shrimp Separately

  • In same pan, add a bit of butter
  • Add shrimp → cook 1–2 min per side
  • Remove once pink & slightly golden

👉 Keeps shrimp juicy, not rubbery

3️⃣ Build Flavor Base

  • Add butter + garlic
  • Sauté briefly (30 sec)
  • Add onions + bell peppers
  • Cook until slightly caramelized

4️⃣ Create Sauce (Game Changer)

  • Add soy sauce + honey
  • Optional: Worcestershire + chili flakes
  • Let it bubble 1–2 minutes

👉 This creates a glossy, rich glaze

5️⃣ Bring It Together

  • Return steak + shrimp
  • Toss quickly in sauce

6️⃣ Final Assembly

  • Serve over warm seasoned rice
  • Spoon extra sauce on top
  • Finish with parsley + squeeze of lemon

🍽️ Final Result

  • Steak with crust (not boiled ❌)
  • Shrimp juicy & slightly charred
  • Sauce glossy, sweet-savory balance
  • Rice absorbs flavor perfectly
