Shrimp and Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients (Upgraded)
- 2 chicken breasts (slice in half horizontally for even cooking)
- 12–15 shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter (divided)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese 🧀 (GAME CHANGER)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional 🔥)
- Salt & black pepper
- Juice of ½ lemon 🍋 (balances the sauce)
- Fresh parsley
- Mashed potatoes or pasta
👨🍳 Instructions (Optimized for flavor)
1️⃣ Chicken = juicy & flavorful
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika & Italian seasoning
- Sear in olive oil + 1 tbsp butter on medium-high heat
- Cook 4–5 min per side (don’t overcook)
- Remove and REST (important for juiciness)
2️⃣ Shrimp = perfect texture
- In same pan, add a bit of butter
- Season shrimp lightly (salt, paprika)

Cook 1–2 min per side only → remove immediately
👉 (Overcooking = rubbery shrimp ❌)
3️⃣ Build a REAL creamy sauce
- Lower heat → add garlic
- Cook 30–40 sec (don’t burn it)
- Deglaze with chicken broth (scrape all flavor 👌)
- Add cream → simmer gently
