 Ultra moist marble cake


Ingredients :

3 eggs

130g caster sugar

75g melted butter

200g dark pastry chocolate

240g flour

1 packet of baking powder

20 cl semi-skimmed milk

Steps :

1. To start, preheat your oven to 160°C.


2. Next, melt the butter over low heat and set aside.


3. In a bowl, blanch the eggs with the sugar then slowly pour in the butter while stirring so as not to drop the eggs.


4. Incorporate the flour and baking powder until a homogeneous dough is obtained. Then add the milk and whisk briskly. It will help to relax the preparation.


5. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat. Stir regularly.


6. Divide your dough into two different bowls, putting 40% in one and 60% in the other. (For ease, you can work with a ladle, adding a ladle in one, then in the other, until the batter is used up)


7. In the bowl containing 40% batter, add the melted chocolate.


8. Butter your cake mold then flour it. (You can line the bottom with parchment paper to facilitate unmolding)


9. Start by pouring a little plain dough then add the chocolate one on top and continue to alternate the layers until the dough is used up. Create waves using a knife and let your imagination run wild!


10. Bake for 45 minutes (up to 1 hour depending on the power of your oven). Prick it with a knife to see if it is cooked.
