Chicken with cream and asparagus
Ingredients :
4 chicken breasts
600g small green asparagus
10 cl fresh cream
10 cl of white wine
2 tbsp. olive oil
Salt and pepper
Steps :
1. Boil a pot of water. Peel the asparagus, cut off the tough stem area and then cut in half lengthwise. Plunge them for 5 minutes in boiling water then drain them.
2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and brown the chicken breasts on each side over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper then pour in the white wine. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat, turning the chicken halfway through cooking.
3. Add the cream then mix. Add the asparagus and heat again for 5 minutes.
4. Serve your chicken with cream and asparagus immediately with a plate of rice on the side.
