Sweet Amish Pasta Salad


1 pound of macaroni salad
4 boiled eggs (chopped)
1 small onion finely chopped
3 stalks of celery, cut into small cubes
1 small sweet pepper, seeded and cut into small cubes (red or orange)


2 cups light mayonnaise (do not use Miracle Whip)
1/2 cup of sugar
1/8 cup yellow mustard
2 tablespoons of dill pickle
1 tablespoon of white vinegar or 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
3/4 teaspoon of celery seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
paprika (for decoration)

Directions :

Cook pasta according to instructions, and drain well.

While the pasta is cooking, mix all of the dressing ingredients until well combined and set aside.

Chop all the vegetables.

When the pasta is cool and well-drained, mix in the dressing (add it all if you like a very creamy salad. If you don't like too much sauce, leave about 1/2-3/4c of the sauce. Remember that. When you put it, it will absorb some of the sauce.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour; the longer you allow it to set in flavor.
