  2. I hate vague recipes like this. If you guess right, woo hoo, but, if you guess wrong, it's not optimal. Thanks for the teasing photos, but I'll pass on this recipe with no measurements.

    1. it's freaking lasagna. figure it out. do you use measurements when you make regular lasagna? it's probably one of the easiest dishes in the world to nail.

    2. Its vague for a reason. You can add as much as needed to feed your family. For my family of four - I would do a lb of meat and toppings as what I would use if I were to make tacos alone.

    3. the only thing I'm confused on is how much heavy cream to how much cheese. but I'll just test it out slowly lol

  4. Measurements are needed. Not all of us are good guessers and don't want to waste time and money on a dish you're not sure will turn out correctly. Don't demean anyone who doesn't share your ability to throw it together

  6. If you can't give the measurements of the ingredients then it is not a recipe. How many recipes do you see that doesn't have the measurements of the ingredients. Even those that don't measure their ingredients, if someone asked how they made it they should be able to give measurements.

    1. That’s because whoever posted this recipe isn’t the owner of it. I follow the man whose recipe this is. His name is Chef TooKool on IG. This is his exact posting of the recipe though.

Now when I made the pico that was fine had enough. Next time I will get 5lbs are more Hamburger 2 pt of heavy cream are a qt heavy cream. 1 green pepper ok I did 1/2 red onion that was ok and 3 pk of taco season and I added cajun season. I also added salt and pepper. I also drain all the grease I should have left a little bit meat look to dry to me. I also taste it to see if I need more seasons next time a li more. But I'll get back and let y'all know how the Family like it! This is my 1st time make any Taco dish!

  11. Please people find a lasagna recipe and switch out the measurements to the taco recipe. With food I don't need to measure, I've been cooking by sight or taste for over 40 years.

  12. For those that need measurements it isnt always adults. My 10 year old son loves cooking. When you are learning to cook measurements are needed.
I am happy there are alot of people that cook by sight and taste. My question to you is when you where learning you didn't measure?
    Not all are seasoned cooks.

  15. What is the cheese sauce for? Are you using that in the layers where it says "cheese"? And then do you use just shredded cheese for final top layer?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Normally you will judge by the amount of heavy cream you buy. Comes pint, quart,1/2 gallon etc. As you start adding your cheese it will really start to thicken. Judge by consistency.enjoy.
